Daniel has experience working with and treating individuals with acute and complex trauma utilizing an integrative approach drawing from fundamentals of body-centered psychotherapies, mindfulness, bilateral stimulation, sensorimotor psychotherapy, and somatic experiencing therapy. Daniel also has experience with LGBTQ* issues including but not limited to identity exploration, dysphoria, transgender issues, anxiety and depression surrounding sexual orientation/gender identity, and HIV/AIDS issues. Daniel was a president of UNI’s Panther Palms (American Sign Language Choir) and participated in American Sign Language club for a time as their events coordinator. Daniel enjoys spending his free time reading young adult fiction, playing MTG, and being in nature.
